Why is Coldfusion so expensive?

As most CFers know by now, there has been a big stink about an article by Computerworld about how Coldfusion is a dead or dying language. Well, thecrumb.com has a reply here ( http://www.thecrumb.com/2007/05/25/coldfusion-not-dead-but-it-could-be-better/ ) that I wanted to reply too!
I used to work in a support shop, and we did work for the walk-in customer as well as local businesses. We learned that, while walk in support can pay the bills, it usually comes with all sorts of headaches and support issues. I think CF is positioning itself, by its price and its features, exactly where it wants to be: Medium to large businesses. Sure, CF could be free for everyone, but there are many middle and upper level managers that are still leery of the free product, with questions like: who can you go to for support? will this exist in 5 years once I have my whole infrastructure built around it? Putting Adobes name on Coldfusion now more than ever places in squarely in the same market: mid to large businesses. I dont think thats going to change any time soon.
